Accelerated digital communication currently dominates the zeitgeist, changing the perception of fashion. Contrasting phenomena, such as digital artifciality and a longing for real-world authenticity, globalization, and the desire for individuality defne the spirit of our times. As in design and architecture, fashion, too, now reflects a global, cross-cultural aesthetic in which parameters such as age, sex, dictates of style, and dress codes play an increasingly insignifcant role. The real relevance today lies in being part of a global community while underscoring and maintaining one’s individual identity at the same time.
This zeitgeist is reflected in the three style elements upon which the collection is based. They represent various facets of femininity and display three fundamental directions, each with its own stylistic focus. The frst of the three female prototypes has a look grounded in modern basics and decidedly urban styling. The second style group strives, above all, for a reduced, streamlined aesthetic, while the third style mindset puts a stronger emphasis on playful elements to express a modern femininity.
