The presence of social media changes visual perceptions and accelerates the creation of new aesthetic codes. With this, the idea of a modernity exclusively based on minimalism and reduction is becoming less important, while at the same time tolerance towards new design approaches that also incorporate loud, visually intense elements is increasing. The widening of the perspective also forces one to adopt the curatorial principle, to pick out what is relevant from the abundance of possibilities. Making a deliberate decision and adopting an attitude is a necessity not only in aesthetic questions, but also affects the big social themes of the future.
These aspects of the spirit of the age are reﬂected in three style mentalities upon which the collection’s structure is based. They represent different facets of femininity and extract from this three basic directions, each with its own stylistic focus. The first type of woman puts the focus on modern basics and emphatically urban styling. In the second style group, high quality standards blend with a preference for reduced looks to produce a sophisticated straightforwardness, while in the third style mentality more emphasis is placed upon playful elements, expressing a modern femininity.
